Fundamental research
As an academic research institute, the Smart City Institute (SCI) develops its expertise through fundamental research.

On the basis of a whole range of key themes, the SCI studies sustainable and smart transition issues in our territories and publish scientific articles in high-quality peer-reviewed journals (Cities, Journal of Cleaner Production, Technological Forecasting and Social Change or Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal).
