On 26 September 2023, the Smart City Institute is proposing a new 40-minute webinar dedicated to evaluating your territory's Smart City maturity.

Correctly measuring the level of maturity of a territory's approach to sustainable and smart transition is not an easy task, especially if there are no concrete criteria on which to base it. Based on this observation, the Smart City Institute (SCI) has developed the Smart City Maturity Model (SCMM), a model for evaluating a territory's level of Smart City maturity.

About the webinar

The webinar will review some of the key questions to which the Smart City Maturity Model can provide guidance. It will be moderated by Maximilien Servais, Researcher at the Smart City Institute and author of the SCMM. We will also have the opportunity to welcome Alexandre Bosshard, who is a member of the Management Board and coordinator of the Industrial Services Technical Office for the city of Pully (Switzerland).

The aim of this webinar is to present this reference framework and how it was conceived and designed, to discuss the value of evaluating the Smart City maturity level of one's territory, and to explain how to use the model. A brief explanation of the evaluation criteria used will also be given. Mr. Bosshard will then give his feedback on his use of the tool.

The webinar will close with a question-and-answer session to allow participants to discuss the subject with our speakers.
