Our team carries out research work focused on sustainable and intelligent territories management, through two complementary axes: fundamental and applied research.
To contribute to the development of sustainable and smart territories, we share our expertise on the subject through 6 types of publications: scientific papers, research reports, practical handbooks, practical handbook's complements, barometers and models.
To stimulate the sustainable and smart transition of our territories, we provide training programmes aimed at professionals but also at tomorrow's managers.
Takes part in our webinars, workshops and conferences to inspire you, enrich your knowledge and exchange around the issue of smart cities and territories.
From March to June 2023, the Smart City Institute (SCI) is on its way to meet the Walloon municipalities! Organised in collaboration with the Walloon Smart Region operational referents from several intermunicipal organisations - namely BEP, Idelux, IDETA, Igretec, In BW and SPI - the Smart City Tour will take place in each of the Walloon provinces.
Tailor-made sessions
Through this Smart City Tour, the SCI proposes in each province a conference or workshop, either physically or online, on subjects related to the sustainable and smart transition of territories. The format and topics of these sessions have been defined to best meet the needs of each province, according to its territorial specificities.
