For this new edition of the Smart Inspiration Day, the Smart City Institute invites you to take part in inspiring conferences that will retrace the journey of two French cities in their sustainable and intelligent transition approach: Angers and Issy-les-Moulineaux. Two cities, two stories, two approaches. Through their presentation, Constance Nebbula, elected representative of the City of Angers, and Eric Legale, Managing Director of Issy Media, will share the vision, strategy and Smart City projects developed in their territory, while presenting the way in which collaboration between actors can help to enrich the reflections and the dynamics as a whole.

Drawing on her experience within the City of Angers and Angers Loire Métropole, Constance Nebbula is proposing a conference to present the Smart City dynamic initiated by the French municipality.
During her speech, the delegate for digital transition and intelligent territory will go over the specific characteristics of the Angers area, the vision adopted and the objectives pursued.
The conference will also address the sometimes complex issue of collaboration between the public and private sectors in the context of sustainable and intelligent transitions in our territories.

Issy-les-Moulineaux is a pioneer city in the digital field in France and one of the innovation centres of Greater Paris. It has built its development on the conviction that all the stakeholders in the city (local authorities, companies, universities, citizens) should be involved in order to make a success of the sustainable city. Once its digital transition is complete, the city of Issy-les-Moulineaux is adapting its method to make a success of its climate transition. It is the priority given to this strategy of adapting the city to climate change that gives meaning to the Smart City strategy deployed over the last ten years. Through examples of projects in the fields of smart grid and smart mobility, Issy-les-Moulineaux demonstrates that innovation can contribute effectively to climate action.
