Description

The Smart City Institute (SCI) is an academic institute of HEC Liège, which works on the theme of Smart Cities with a specific management approach. One of the objectives of the SCI is to help territories become more sustainable and smarter while respecting the well-being of citizens, maintaining economic prosperity and protecting the environment.

In order to be able to offer and develop services that are truly useful to all their users, municipalities need guidance and advice to structure their Smart City approach. To do so, the SCI wants to develop a series of workshops and tools combining the concepts of Management, creativity and innovation, in order to rely on the collective intelligence of the different stakeholders of a territory; because a Smart City is not only built thanks to local authorities, but also with companies, associations, universities and citizens.

In addition, the mission of this internship will also be to help the Smart City Institute to carry out its strategic reflection concerning its future development at the national and international level (strategic diagnosis, market study, analysis of the ecosystem, positioning and sectoral watch, etc.)
