Smart Cities Management: an alumni network of more than 90 actors!
Which now has its own exchange platform
In 2017, our team set up a new training programme entirely dedicated to the management of Smart Cities. In November 2020, we closed the 4th edition of this training, welcoming 25 new experts to our alumni network.
In 4 years, 4 generations of alumni have succeeded one another to progressively consolidate a community that is increasingly rich and representative of the dynamic Smart City that is being developed in our territories. A community that today includes more than 90 experts from various organisations: towns and municipalities, intermunicipal organisations, Local Action Groups, research centres, companies active in consultancy, insurance, energy, construction, technology, petrochemicals, mobility, waste management, media, events, IT, etc...
A platform for sharing, exchanging and working together
In order to bring together all these generations and profiles and to strengthen this precious network, a platform for exchange and work that is entirely dedicated to them has just been created.
"We have created this workspace in order to promote and facilitate content sharing between our alumni. In this way, we want to encourage them to share with their peers their questions, best practices, sources of inspiration and experiences.
We are convinced that these exchanges can truly contribute to the progress of our territories towards a more sustainable and resilient future, but also to the consolidation of a strong ecosystem on a Walloon scale but also more widely. Indeed, the Smart City is built thanks to the intelligence of the different stakeholders and this platform allows, beyond training, to continue to bring together "around the table" the actors involved in the dynamics" explains Cécile Caputo, head of training since 2019.
