Smart Inspiration Day 2018 - An inspiring day dedicated to Smart Cities

On 24 May 2018, the Smart City Institute team is pleased to invite you to Smart Inspiration Day, a day dedicated to the exchange of best practices in sustainable and smart territories. This year, our event will take place in two parts, offering you both workshops and discussions on targeted topics while allowing you to attend inspiring conferences. It is possible to register for the whole day or just one of the parts.

This day will be punctuated by the interventions of :

  • Minister Pierre-Yves Jeholet, Minister for the Economy, Industry, Research, Innovation, Digital, Employment and Training.
  • Minister Valérie de Bue, Minister of Local Authorities, Housing and Sports Infrastructures.

ROB VAN GIJZEL - Former Mayor of the City of Eindhoven (2008-2016)

Inspiring conference on Smart Cities dynamics, based on the reconversion of Eindhoven and its region into a sustainable and intelligent territory, Eindhoven having been elected "Intelligent Community of the Year" by the Intelligent Community Forum in 2011.

Keynote Speaker 2 :
KATIE TURNBULL - Executive Associate Director of the Texas A&M Transportation Institute - Professor at Texas A&M University

This conference will address the theme of "Smart City Dynamics: Perspectives from the US and Texas" through the intervention of Katie Turnbull, who is dedicating her research to the study of American and, more specifically, Texan best practices.
